A few friends, just got reconnected. They've asked me, what has changed since last time we guys have seen each other. All of them are now partnered. One of them even had a kid. Then they threw the question to me...

"Jay, ikaw? what has changed? Kumusta ka na? How's lovelife?"

Then I replied...

"ah.. eh... ako?... same old same old. nothin has really changed. i'm still single."

Someone asked:

"weh.. ikaw pa mabakante? eh parang ang dami mo kakilala at kausap..."

Then I said,

"well yeah, marami ako kausap, and have met some people, pero it doesnt mean, it would start a relationship"

A friend laughed:

"hahaha utut mo, ikaw pa!" Ang choosy mo kasi!"

I told them,

"guys, com'on, dont put me on the hot seat, let's just eat."

Then we just went out and ate lunch. While I'm still thinking about the answer to the question, "why am I still single? After all, I'm not as bad looking naman, and I have a decent job and good boy naman"....

Have I set the bar too high that no one could ever pass?

Then I just kept silent for the rest of the day...

I met this guy 1 time through a social networking site. We met that night just to cuddle and watch some dvd's at home. He's really nice, I liked him so much that i almost fell in love with all the things he do and what he is. He made me special, he cuddled me til i fall asleep. It was not sexual. Sweet. Just like a partner. I missed that feeling. And I can't help it but to long for that warm embrace again.

Then morning came, he has to leave. He went home and called me up in the afternoon. He said he likes me but.....

But....

I had this bad feeling that this "but" will break the "cloud 9" feeling I had. I asked him what is this "but". He said he is dating his ex. Weird huh, dating an ex. Oh well, gave the benefit of the doubt, I told him not to worry for I will do something stupid to break someone else's heart like his ex's.

Sad, yes..disappointed... i was...

after 2 weeks, he called. unknown number.. BTW, i lost his number because my phone got busted.

He called up, he said, he wants to see me again.. blindly, i said yes. I felt excited. very very excited. Then he came, in his gray long sleeves and slacks.. sharp looking and cute. cant take my eyes off of him. He smiled at me and said, let's drink a few bottles of beer.. we went to my apartment to drink. felt tipsy. We slept together,
cuddled again, sweet...he said over and over again... he likes me....

I like him too.... but i cant continue doing this.

He confessed his past, told me he dated and dating a few. That sucks. I felt bad about it. I told him what I feel. and I told him, i will be there for you as long as I'm single... I'll stop to be your cuddle buddy once i get committed to someone. But i wasn't able to stop myself from telling him.. that I had myself reserved for him because I like him..bur he keeps on breaking my heart and It's not easy...

I dunno where I'm heading.. still thinking of letting go... he just keeps on showing me what i want and makes me feel special every now and then...

Shall I keep this seat reserved for you? Or shall I let someone sit beside me and make me happy.

Boracay... such a lonely place

April 20-24, 2011. I went to this ever famous place called Boracay in Aklan for the holy week. My first time fo a lot of things, ride a plane, travel down south, go to Boracay, 1st time to take a long vacation since I started working.

I heard a lot of good things about this place so i got curious. It is true that the sand is nice, crowd is cool, daming sexy, a lot of bars to go to and food to eat. The beach, that's the reason I was there... but i am disappointed. A lot of algae on it. too bad. It is true that the place is nicer if it's not summer time.I hope the government will spend time cleaning the beach because we are paying environmental fee for nothing. Sad.

On the other hand, i like the fact that there is grotto at the middle of the beach. i was there one night and prayed. It's just one of the priceless experience I had in Boracay.

Party party, syempre, I won't miss that. We went to Paraw on our 1st night though panay brownout and raining pa. Enjoy naman, mixed crowed, different classes. May class A to C na crowd. Day 2 to 4 we went to EPIC bar in station 2. I like it, more like bars in Manila though alcohol is really high priced. But it's still nice, cuz they're open until the sun goes up.

Friends, I am thankful that they brought me there. Quite an experience. Maybe you are wondering why I said it is such a lonely place... Boracay is a place where lonely people go. You will forget what you left home, work or lovelife. It is where you can meet new people who then can relate to you.

I wanna go back to Boracay, hopefully, with someone special...

I am 30, and starting to think what will happen to me when I grow old. I am praying to grow up with someone to share my life with. Until now, I haven't found that person. Or maybe I have but for some reasons, I'm still wearing this "singles badge". I dunno if there's something wrong with me. Oh well, maybe I am not physically attractive but I know deep within, I have this heart that I am willing to give to anyone who deserves. Though this heart have been broken several times, time healed the wounds and picked up the pieces together.

Yesterday I asked myself, "why do people don't take me seriously?". In my mind I answered this question with, maybe you don't let them see that you are worthy. Sighs.... I am jolly and love to joke around. People, most of the time go beyond their boundaries thinking it's ok. My life is an open book, people think they can just look at it, play, and make fun of it. Reality is, I am not as cool as what you can see. I am very sensitive. I get easily offended especially when people say I always fool around. It feels really bad... breaks my heart.

To continue with my journey to life, I will keep waiting. As one of our church pastor said, Love is Patient. And that's what I always keep on my mind. Someday I know, you will come, and by the time that happens, I am ready to start something new again.

This is one question that I have been asking my self...

Until now, I can't answer.

Why do i see my self half empty?

I am searching for contentment, companion, attention...

I have been thinking for weeks lately. Whether or not to keep my second facebook account. Yes, you are right, I have 2 facebook accounts. I had to separate my straight life from my "not so straight" way of living. It used be just one, when one of my gay friends commented to one of my posts that really struck me. Yes I am not out to my family. I'm just not so comfortable talking to them about it but I know they have a hint.

Going back to this facebook account, I have roughly 2000 friends there, i would say 80% of them, I don't even know. I just accept whoever requests just so i can have as many friends as I can. Lately, I've been thinking about keeping it. Why? Because I don't see any benefits from it except a channel to flirt around. This networking site has been there and it's just making me immature as opposed to becoming a better person. I wouldn't deny the fact the facebook makes me busy, keeps me away from boredom, let me talk to new people and connect to my friends. Yes, I call them friends, are they really worth calling friends? Where were they when I needed one? And where was I when they needed me? I just really can't see the good thing about keeping it right now.

Currently, it's temporarily deactivated. I'm still thinking......

We spent time last new year's eve.

Watched tv together at home.

We were never sexual.

We respect each other.

I started to like this person.

Problem is, I'm not sure if the feeling is mutual.

I don't want to assume.

I keep myself available just for him.

Makes me smile every time he texts,

But this bothers me a lot,

I am starting to feel excited...

Jealous at people around him, "my competitors".

But again, I don't want to assume.

I am confused.

i remember when i was a child i always dream about a picture of me with a special someone,

someone who holds my hands when i'm lost,

cheer me up when i am down,

fix me when i am broken.

as i grow old, i realized that life is complicated,

there are things that you can't simply get,

make them yours,

keep them,

i met you with just one hello,

you had me with just one sweet smile,

i love you with just one kiss,

i thought the person in the picture that i have been dreaming since i was a kid was you,

but i was wrong,

you left with no valid reason,

kept me hanging by saying nothing,

ignored me and took me for granted,

eventhough it hurts me,

One Friday, me and my friends went out to get some booze.

We went to Central in Madison Square in Pioneer.

Ordered A LOT of drinks!!!!

Tipsy, I asked them to go some place else..

I feel like partying to loud music and crowded place.

So we went to a bar somewhere in Ortigas.

My friends were taking pictures inside the bar when I noticed this guy posing as if he was with us.

So I grinned... I smiled.

He's so funny.

He noticed me smiling at his being silly.

He walked towards me and asked me to dance.

He said I'm so quiet and shy (well..I am)

He held my hand and drag me into the dance floor (away from my chair)

He introduced himself and told me stories about his life...

I can barely hear him because of loud music...

So whenever he speaks, he brings his lips closer to my ears.

Sweet!

Then suddenly he told me, can i kiss you?

I smiled back at him.

He kissed my cheeks... once, twice until I lost counting.

It was fun, but I didn't take flirting seriously (hahaha!)

I was so passive that time, so he went back to his friends's table.

I walked back to my chair and drink the beer that someone gave me. (i dunno him either)

He's a kissnaper (of course with consent).

I'm not sure if I want to see him again,

But 1 thing is for sure... it was a great night!

Hinatid mo ako sa bahay. Ang gaan gaan ng pakiramdam ko sayo nun. Para akong nakajackpot. Ang dating boring na buhay ko, biglang naging makulay. nag-usap tayo sa bahay, nag brownout, umuwi ka na. Di naputol dun ang kwento natin. Nagtuloy tuloy ang pagkikita, ang pagsasama. Parang lahat ng oras ang ganda. Ang gaan. Ang saya. Di ko maexplain. Nangingiti na lang ako pag naiisip kita. Sa bawat pag ring ng cellphone ko. Ikaw ang pinapanalangin ko na sana makausap ko. Ang sarap ng pakiramdam. Pinadama mo ulit sakin ang pahalagahan. Ang ingatan. Ang mahalin. Ang sweet mo nga eh. Ang feelings ko sayo na pinipigilan ko, di nagtagal nasabi ko sayo. Alam mo, yun ang oras sa buhay ko na gusto ko balik balikan. Pero kung ok lang sayo, gusto ko matagal ko muna sya hiramin..". Pag nagsisimba ako, palagi ko sinasabi sa kanya sana maging maganda ang career mo. Napromote ka. And sobrang proud naman ako sayo. Bawat oras na magkasama tayo. May mga natutuklasan ako sayo. Maganda man or pangit, lahat yun ginusto ko kasi yun ka. Minahal kita dahil hindi sa kung ano lang ang maganda sayo. Kundi pati ang kahinaan mo. Mas minahal ko yun. Niyakap para mas mapalapit ka sa puso ko.

Tulad ng ibang relasyon, may unos. Dumating si nanay. Nahati ang oras ko sa inyong dalawa. Pilit ko kinakaya na puntahan ka sa office para makita kita. Yun ang nagbibigay sakin ng inspirasyon. Ng ngiti sa labi. Ng kilig sa puso. Nabawasan ang mga kilig moments dahil sa mall na lang tayo nagkakasama. Sa taxi ko na lamang nahahawakan ang kamay mo.. panakaw pa. Sana wala akong nagawang malaking mali para maging ganun ang nararamdaman mo. Ikaw ang laging inaalala ko. Ikaw ang gusto kong mapasaya higit pa sa sarili ko. Lumipas mga araw, lumalamig ang panahon... kasabay ng paglamig ng iyong puso. Anung nangyari? Unti unting lumalaki ang lamat sa puso. Pero di pa din ako sumusuko. Mahal na mahal kita wifey. Andito lang ako para sayo. Umaasa ako, hindi man ngayon. Sa hinaharap, ikaw pa rin ang makakatuluyan ko. Salamat dumating ka sa buhay ko.
